Dancing Stone B

My inspiration for creating The Dancing Stones came from a holiday I enjoyed in Cypress. I was beachcombing near Aphrodite’s Rock, when I came across these 3 small flints no bigger than 6 “ each high. I was mesmerized by their captured movement of Dance, like they had been three beings that had been turned to stone, but continue to perfuse a sense of dance! Had they upset the legendary Aphrodite the goddess of love, who knows!. The opportunity came to turn these little magical stones into large form sculpture and give them the presence that they deserve! Aphrodite’s Dancing Stones.
